Cruising with 18 month old

Hello,
I will be cruising on the Pride of America in Feb 06 around Hawaii. I have been on several cruises, but never with NCL.
My son will be 18 months old at the time of the trip.
I have so many questions and I am sure there are plenty I haven't even thought of!

What should I bring for him?
Are there babysitting services for children under 2?
Car Seat for Taxi Rides?
Do I bring Food and Formula?
How do I handle the plane ride?

Any help or suggestions are appreciated, has anyone been there done that?

What should I bring for him? ...Enough food, formula, diapers, clothes, toys, blankets, etc. to last for the duration of the cruise

Are there babysitting services for children under 2? ...Unfortunately, no. Group sitting services are offered to children 2+ only.

Car Seat for Taxi Rides? ...You will need to supply your own; otherwise it will be unavailable

Do I bring Food and Formula? ...Yes, food and formula are unavailable onboard

How do I handle the plane ride? ...Bring lots of a bottles and a Binky to keep his ears from popping during pressure changes
