Default Outlets on DAWN!

Hello everyone!
Quick question- Will I need to bring a adapter for the outlet in the cabin, I know to bring an extention cord but the one I have is a three prong, or can you ask the desk for the adapter?

Thanks!!!!

Default Re: Outlets on DAWN!

Having worked on the Norwegian Sky/Pride of Aloha I can tell you that in most staterooms there are both 110 volt outlets which are standard U.S. 3 prong outlets as well as 220 volt european outlets. On the Dawn it may be different. My advice would be to bring a power strip/surge protector and an adapter as well. You can pick up an adapter at your local Radio Shack, CompUSA,Wal-Mart, etc. but keep it in the packaging so if you don't need to use it you can always return it when you get home (if you wish to return it that is). Also, the front desk doesn't supply adapters. If you do decide to buy one, make sure that it is one that will step the 220volts down to 110 volts. If you dont get one like this you may end up frying your electronics.
