My parents just got back from the Alaska Inside Passage Cruise on the Norwegian Dream ship. They had a great time! The service was excellent, food was good and they were treated very well. They received a $300 ship credit per room for the lost port of call "Sitka". They had no complaints! TW
Same report here...my parents were also onboard. They said they actually missed two ports, Ketchikan and Sitka, but that overall it was an enjoyable experience. Their favorite part, some plane ride up to a glacier. Said it was pricey, but made their trip!
Food, as expected, not 5 star but as good as a typical Vegas buffet. They said there was quite a vocal group of complainers, but different strokes for different folks. My parents chose to make the best of the situation....would have done the same if it were a land vacation and the car broke down somewhere....vacations are still enjoyable if you pack along the right attitude!
I aggree with Cynda... Attitude can make or break a trip. I did not mention any problems to my parents before they left. I did not want them going in expecting a rotten time. This thier first cruise so I will post with thier reaction when they get back.
