pride of aloha and america

Hi, I am wondering if anyone has been on both the Pride of Aloha, and the Pride of America, and if there is a large difference. I am hoping to take my parents on a cruise for their 40th anniversary. If there is not much difference I would take them on aloha, since it tends to be less expensive and I have a fairly limited budget.

I also noticed I can now board the Aloha in Maui instead of Honolulu.
