We are celebrating our 25th anniversary and are looking for a mediteranean cruise that has good ports of call. I have heard some of them dock so far out from the port that you waste your time travelling back and forth. Which would you recommend and why?
you really can't let this stop you, just check as many as you can think of and make your decision. I think the Jewel has a great itinerary for this summer and will have a similar one next year. The Barcalona is one of the better ones. In fact it is probably the best. NMnita
We did the Venice to Barcelona cruise with stops in Athens, Istanbul, Mykonos, Kusadasi, Naples, Rome , Livorno and Marseilles in August of last year and had a wonderful time. Calm seas, plenty of time in each port, lots to do and just enough sea days to recover when needed. If you are a history buff this is a great cruise, if your a shopper it's great, too. We recommend it highly.
