Default Alaskan Cruise

I will going on the Norwegian Star to Alaska in June. I'm trying to figure out when to book my flight home. Does anyone know how long it will take to get off the ship? Any chance I could make the airport for an 11:00am flight? Also, any other comments about the Star to Alaska would be appreciated!!!
Thanks ahead of time!

11:00 is very early. I would not book a flight before 1ish.

DH & I did Alaska on the Sky in 2002. When we docked in Seattle and left the ship, it was about 9:30.

We booked our flight home to Boston the next day. We spent an extra day in Seattle, and relaxed before the long flight.

We're doing Hawaii in December, and once again flying home the next day.

One more day on the beach is better than work & home.

We are first time cruisers and also cruising Alaska on the Star in July....we opted for a 2:23PM flight out of Seattle instead of a 12:43PM just to give us a bit of a cushion. By the time you disembark, catch a cab to the airport (25-40 mins), check in, (recommended 2 hours prior)...we didn't want to be in a panic. We also decided to depart the day before (Boston) the cruise and pricelined a 4* hotel room in downtown seattle ($105) Sheraton compared to $179 on their website....although they had good flight times the day of the cruise but didn't want to chance anything getting delayed and missing the STAR in seattle. Enjoy!

Thanks so much for your input. We ended up booking our flight home the day after the cruise (just in case) The flights back to Hartford were either around or before 11:00am or after 10:00pm (we didn't want an overnight flight) We too are staying over the night before the cruise, I definitely didn't want to chance that. I hope you have a great time!
