Default NCL Room service?

Is there a surcharge for ordering room service onboard the NCL Spirirt, or is it included in your ticket price and all thats suggested is a $2 or so tip for the person who delivers your meal? Thanks!

Room service is free. The TIP is a suggestion. TIP as you wish.

just one more thing, unless you have a suite your choices on the room service menu won't be great, but it is fine for a snack and great for coffe early in the morning as well as light breakfast when you want to get off the ship in a hurry. NMNita

Aside from room service, what other options are there for lunch and dinner? On the TA's website it says that the restaraunts are open from 5:30pm to 12 midnight. Is this all foor selections, or just the specialty/surcharge restaraunts?

Are buffets open 24/7? Is there any time that food is NOT available buffet style?

Hello Again lumofny:

Blue Lagoon is open 24 hours, in addition to room service.

On our 3/19/06 cruise on the Spirit, both Raffles Buffet and Windows dining room were open each day for lunch during hours listed in the Freestyle Daily (delivered to your stateroom each night, showing the next day's schedule). Dinner was available each evening in both Windows and the Garden Room dining rooms, as well as Raffles Buffet and the specialty restaurants, 5:30 PM - 9:30/10:00 PM (or later). The buffet was only available during posted hours; basically 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM (only not available from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM).

Any more questions, ask away.

As already mentioned Blue Lagoon is open 24/7 and has a great, but limited menu. Like fish and chips? they serve the best: in the mood for a fresh hamburger, go for it or maybe buffalo winds if they still offer them plus hot dogs, home made (or so they claim, don't know who's home) chili plus salads and a few other choices. Yum, yum!!! The buffet is not open 24 hours, but a good part of the day and night. The main dining rooms are open for lunch on sea days. Don't worry you will always find plenty to eat.
