I've only been on one cruise before and that was on RC. I've read both positive and negative feedback on NCL Dawn. NCL is a freestyle cruise which I'm looking forward to. Is there a way we can get the weeks dinner menu for the free restaurants ahead of time so we can make reservations for the paid restaurants? I read some other postings and see where the Hibachi is a nice place to eat. I believe the restaurant is called the Venetian. Where is a good place for breakfast on the ship?
I hope someone on this board will be able to help you: if not, when you embark you should be able to get the menus for the entire week. Just go to reception and they should be able to direct you. NMNita
We haven't been on the Dawn, but on the Sun the menus were available at the purser's desk and at the specialty restaurant reservation desk. There's no way that I know of to find the menus before you cruise. Also, the daily menus were available in the bars and are posted outside the dining rooms.
You can eat breakfast at the buffet or in the dining room. We only ate at the buffet and it was fine. I think there may be more offerings in the dining room.
As NMNita said, hopefully someone who's been there can help you more!
Have a wonderful cruise!
