We were also on that cruise, disappointed in free style dining. While we still had a good time we missed RCCL pampering. Cruise director, Matt Baker, was excellent. He was on a cruise we did a few years ago with RCCL. I had to ask for "towel animals" from our cabin steward and got them only 2 of the 7 nights. Having a balcony for 3 sea days was outstanding. Of the 5 cruises we have taken the sunsets were spectacular this trip.
We were off the ship a little after 10am, getting on/off the ship extremely easy. Weather was perfect the whole week.
hey, i just returned from the norwegian dawn that left on june 19. Did you have matt baker as your cruise director? also, i am trying to remember this guy's last name because i think my friend might know him. his name is jeremy and he has an accent and his nametag says he from canada. he was in the show 'fountains' and sometimes hosted the kareoke at stardust lounge. does he sound familiar?
Did you stop at the private island? or was it postponed because of weather? If so did you go to Nassau longer?
What excursions did you do?
we did stop at the private island. weather was perfect every day. we were at their island from 8-4pm; then sailed to Nassau arriving at 8pm. we were in Nassau only until noon the next day. we did not do any excursions this time due to limited time frame and we have been to Nassau before. several people went to see Atlantis on Paradise Island. we did some shopping.
to the other poster - I remember who Jeremy was - but I don't know his last name.
