Has anyone recently sailed the Norwegian Sun?

We are looking at doing this apr 07, out of new orleans. Was your experience good? How about the kids program?

DD and I sailed her 2 months ago for our 2nd time and had a blast. The good was good everywhere except I am not crazy over the breakfast buffet; of course buffets are buffets. We did eat in the specialty restaurants as well: Le Bistro has always been our favorite. As for the kids program, I really can't say as we have no little ones, but from what others were saying on the ship and reports my clients give me, it is one of the best at sea. It seems the kids have a blast. One thing I will point out: the age group breakdown is strictly enforced; the kids can not go into an older or a younger group no matter what!!! NMnita

We sailed her last fall but sailed out of Galveston because of Katrina damage to port of N.O. Don't know about kids programs as we are past that. Check out my review in the readers' review portion.

thanks so much. we had a great time on ncl the last time, but the kids area was CROWDED ...maybe it varies ship to ship? or when you sail? we are leaning towards ncl again...plus we have $500 from our rewards built up so far to use toward it!
