Norwegian Jewel Balconies?

I would appreciate any information from those who have sailed on the Norwegian Jewel about their balconies. We have sailed on 3 previous cruises all with balconies and are hooked. Are the Jewels balconies all covered, half covered or totally exposed? We are assuming that the balconies on the Pearl will be the same since they are sister ships.
Thanks for any info to help us make a good choice for our next trip in May.

if you look at pictures of jewel you will see half way along side of ship is an overhang so if your on deck 11 central your balcony will never see sunlight ...only when sun is low at sunset..
however deck 8-9 seemed ok as they were further out from side and all other cabins front and aft of overhang were ok
i did jewel 18-25june med cruise barcelona round trip...an excellent clean ship..well run...just a few words of advice...book your speciality restaurants well in advance to save disappointment....if your doing the same cruise i did with a stop in rome and a tour to vatican be prepared for a 2 hour line to get into vatican as 10000 people try to get in every day

My husband and I took our first cruise on the Star to Alaska. We decided to splurge for a balcony suite. It was amazing.
We had cabin 10000 - on the very front of the boat. HUGE balcony.
The room was fabulous, but the view from our balcony was IT for us.
The Jewell is set up just like the Star. In May 2007 we are going to Greece-Egypt-Turkey and we, again, have room 10000. I would not sail unless I could have a room at the front of the boat with a big balcony. Unless I was going with girlfriends, then I'd take any room
