Med weather in late Oct / Atlantic weather Nov

we are going to be on the Jewel starting october 21. can anyone tell what to expect weatherwise in the western Med at that time and crossing the Atlantic in early November.

We did a transatlantic crossing last Oct/Nov. from Europe. Seas were much less choppy than we expected.

During our pre cruise time in Italy, and the few ports in the Med weather was warm, but not hot.

Of course.... weather is weather... and can certainly vary.

We did it 10/14 last year and we found the days in ports to be absolutely gorgeous.. the days at sea were rainy...but who cared...Tuscany, Nice, Malaga , Barcelona..Corsica and Porta Delardo and we hit hot and humid in Nassau... Can't wait to do it again

In The Med The Weather Will Still Be Nice During The Day But The Nights A Little Chilly If You Are Going To Northern Europe It Will Be Chilly & Cold

WE lived in Auburn, just a mile south of Rte 20. Quite a difference here in AZ, but we will not miss the NE winter.

The weather in the med should be very similar to what you would get in Southern Calif about that time: days in the 70s and nights 60s with sunshine. I don't know about the Atlantic. You will love your cruise on the Jewel regardless. We did the northern Atlantic crossing last mid Sept on the Jewel. Although the weather wasn't great it was better than we had expected and the cruise was the best of over 20 we have sailed. NMnita
