Certainly an improvement over the old one. I just put in for dates, Jan to April 2007. destination and that was it: all sailing came up at once with basic prices. NMnita
I like it. A good improvement and I also like their new ad campaign. Short and clearly defines their Freestyle difference from the other cruise lines.
NCL has set the trends of open seating, non-cattle call disembarkation and alternative dining for the mainstream lines, hopefully they can continue to do so.
Take care,
Mike

I was a bit dissappointed in the site. I like the look, overall it was refreshing after looking at the same old site for so many years. However, I was hoping for new info. To me, is seems like they took they same pictures and information and just rolled them into a new format.
For example, other Lines have not only the itineraries for each cruise but a way to look at the daily activities that will be offered on the cruise. I like to see the schedule ahead of time so I can know what to prepare for prior to the cruise. It would also be nice to know who/what will be the entertainment for the cruise. I can't believe that they don't have the entertainment scheduled months ahead of time and therefore, be able to tell you in advance who will be on the ship. It could actually be a selling point for a particular cruise.
Okay, I know what you are thinking. With NCL if they can't even make the ports promised on the itinerary, how are they going to live up to an entertainment schedule? Point taken.
I do know that some of the entertainment (lounge bands, etc.) are signed on for months at a time. We specifically took a cruise on the Spirit because they had a band that we heard last year on our cruise in Hawaii.
Bottom line is that I would like to see more information specific to each cruise on this new website. If the objective is to keep loyal NCL cruise customers happy, NCL can help themselves by keeping us informed.
The new site looks nice, but they still don't have a "Search" function for the entire site or a site map. From what I can see, the only "Search" is for cruises .
For instance, if I wanted to know their policy on bringing liquor onboard (which I do know from reading here on CM's), where would I find that information?

Now, granted NCl had a pitiful website before but here's my problem.
1 - Im a Mac user (OS X)
2 - I've got dial up (don't flame me - I live in the sticks and have no choice)
3 - so it tells me in order to use the site I need to update my Flashsomething - click here
4 - click here says "huh? - we can't find the Mac thing"
AAAAAARRRGHHHH!
I have checked out the site on my sole PC at work (The Infidel) computer and it seemed okay but quirky - took forever to load, even with broadband, and was sluggish to navigate.
But, maybe they'll work the kinks out soon. I had a LOT of trouble when CM went to their new format, but it got better eventually.
Very nice site now if their product could match the look we would be in business

don't know what to tell you about most of it cause I am totally illerate when it comes to computers, but as for dial up only: I know what you mean. That is all we had til about 2 years ago; we actually had two phone lines. Then low and behold we got DSL. Only part of our area for about a year, now I think we all have it. I can't believe we ever got along without it. Have faith, one of these days your area will join the 21st century also.
I'm not quite happy with NCL's new website. There was a website that I had saved on my computer that directed me to the NCL Norway page. The web site (though hidden from the old home page) was still fully active except for the available cruises page. The website was still running until October 1st, more than three years after the ship's final voyage. I was going to reveal the address for the many fans of the Norway who didn't know the if the site still existed but was afraid someone might report it to NCL and the webpage might have been deleted earlier. Unfortunately, the site is now gone for good.
