NCL Passport Regulations Question
Hi all
I am sailing on the Norwegian Wind on Nov. 18 2006 and I have a Canadian passport that expires withen 6 months. Am I still allowed to take the cruise? I heard something from someone that I will not be allowed on the cruise if I have a passport expiring withen 6 months. I really hope this is not true... can anybody confirm please? |
Hi cruisenub,
Welcome to Cruisemates! Go here: http://www.ncl.com/nclweb/cruiser/st...irements#Proof for the requirements to cruise on NCL. Confused, after you read it? Don' feel alone :) ! Even though NCL "updated" their website, it's still almost impossible to find what you're looking for! If I were you, I'd take the "almost" expired passport, your "official" birth certificate (not the hospital certificate), and your photo ID (driver's license). You should be okay with all of these! |
OK thanks alot I will take all of those with me!
Thanks again Andrew |
Many countries require a valid passport that is good for at least 6 months after entry into the country.
Now on The NCL site that was referenced it says: "Valid or recently expired passport (preferred)". So as far as NCL cares, your passport is good enough. |
