NCL Passport Regulations Question
 

Hi all

I am sailing on the Norwegian Wind on Nov. 18 2006 and I have a Canadian passport that expires withen 6 months. Am I still allowed to take the cruise? I heard something from someone that I will not be allowed on the cruise if I have a passport expiring withen 6 months.

I really hope this is not true... can anybody confirm please?

Confused, after you read it? Don' feel alone :) ! Even though NCL "updated" their website, it's still almost impossible to find what you're looking for!

If I were you, I'd take the "almost" expired passport, your "official" birth certificate (not the hospital certificate), and your photo ID (driver's license).

You should be okay with all of these!

Many countries require a valid passport that is good for at least 6 months after entry into the country.

Now on The NCL site that was referenced it says: "Valid or recently expired passport (preferred)".

So as far as NCL cares, your passport is good enough.
