Can anyone tell me what the experience is like on a freestyle cruise for a vegetarian? I am cruising on the Dawn on March 1. Since you don't have a consistent waiter from night to night, is it frustrating to have to tell servers over and over again that you're a vegetarian? Are there vegetarian options on the regular menu or are there separate menus? And of course, is the veggie food good? Thanks!
We just completed a cruise on the sun and YES there is a vegetarian option on the menu everynight! I'm not a vegetarian but did read what they had to offer, sounded yummy. Also on the buffet I do remember them doing something with tofu!

why would you have to tell anyone you are a vegetarian? There are choices on the menu every night. All cruise lines have added veggy entrees I believe. You should have no problems finding plenty to eat. There will be apptizers without out meat each night, of course salads, probably at least one soup and one or two entrees. the biggest problem you may run into would be variety. You may have a repeat on some of the dishes before the week is over. NMNita
