Default Pearl Laundry Mat?

I m going on the Pearl in Oct. I work out a lot and have some"sweaty" clothes!! Paying the usual dry cleaning is too expensive. I have heard differnt answers on this question. Is there self service washers and dryers? If so, is there iron boards available in the laundry mat areas? Can I still request and iron and ironing borad from housekeeping? Any info would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!

from what i have heard, the Pearl does not have self-serve luanderettes. As for the ironing boards, you might want to ask your room steward. I think there was one in the room, but check to make sure. Sorry for the vague answer!

hi, shoreguy!

No, I'm not stalking you...

Just bopping around checking out some of the other cruise boards, and there you were!

Best washers I've used ever.....irons and boards.

TIDE for a buck (quarters)...no bounce sheets, so pack some.

Can't have an iron in your cabin.

I am not sure they run the special on the ships with free laundry rooms. At least they didn't on the Jewel. NMnita

hi,
we were on the NCL dawn in Dec05 for 11 day western caribbean and they ran the special then. they also did a special on the NCL Pearl in Jan07 during a 5 day cruise, but didn't pay it much mind since we always utilize the free laundry mat. the washers and dryers are awesome (small, but efficent 'mieles'. brand). open 24-hrs. so plan according to get in when least occupied. have a great cruise!! we'll be sailing again inJan08 on the new NCL Gem!!
