Default Do I need a reservation in the Main Dining Rooms?

I have been on NCL ships before and never had to make reservations for the main dining rooms, only speciality ones with cover charges. On the Pearl do I need to call ahead for the main dining rooms? Also..do I need to make reservations for the "free" specialty restaurants..the ones serving mexican, Italian. Please Help!!!

No reservation needed for the main dinning rooms. The specialty restaurants free or not a reservation is the way to go. The no fee Italian restaurant is the first to fill up.

we've been on the Dawn two times and the Spirit once, and the answer is nope, not at all, but unless you are a party of about 10 or more, then yes. As for the "free specialty" restuarants, definitely. (especially Mama's Italian Kitchen, it is always packed) hope this info comes in handy!
