I'm new to this board and I haven't been on a cruise since I was a teenager (too long ago!)
My wife and I are looking at taking our 2 year old and the two grandmothers on a cruise to Alaska in august out of Seattle. We were looking at Princess and NCL and are leaning toward NCL because the kids program accepts 2 year olds.
We were pretty sure we would have to get two rooms but I'm wondering if instead we can all fit in a suite. The guy at the NCL reservation line suggested that we would all fit but I'm not so sure. There are no floor plans online so the best guide is real experience.
So, do you think that two adults, two seniors (the grandmothers) and a toddler will fit in an AB class suite on the Pearl?
(Also, if someone can PM me with a pointer to a decent travel agent (in seattle?) that would be great. I'm just paging through the yellow pages at this point.)
Joe, you don't have to have a TA in Seattle, with technology you can benefit from a TA anywhere. As for a suite versus 2 cabins, I think I would lean toward the 2 cabins; give grandmas a time to themselves, at least for sleeping. That is just my opinion. Good luck. BTW, NCL is a better choice with kids, especially very young ones. NMNita
