Anyone get sick NCL-Dawn we travelled 5/12 - 5/19?

My husband has come down with some very serious "flu" like type symptons 3-4 days after returning home. The doctor has put him on
some heavy duty antibiotics.
Friends we met went to the hospital the Sunday upon arriving home
because he was feeling "achy". He was also put on heavy antibiotics.
Anyone else have symptons?

My sister was on your cruise also. She has a sinus infection & was also put on antibiotics. Nothing from the ship though, more from the weather & your own personal immune system.

It's mainly from the storms you guys had at sea, you left NY, it was cold here, hit a storm, went into the tropics where it was hot & then you ran into a storm on the way home with 12+ foot seas.

It's a wonder everyone didn't come down with a cold.

MY HONEY & I WENT ON THE DAWN ON THE 5/12-5/19 AND WE ARE FINE. I WAS OUT IN THE STORM WE HAD AND I HAVE A SINUS INFECTION, BUT THAT'S PROBABLY FROM GOING OUTSIDE AND THEN INSIDE TO THE A/C......
WARM WEATHER TO COLD TYPE OF THING.
WENT TO THE DOCTOR- HE PUT ME ON ZITHROMAX.

My wife and I were on the Dawn the same tme as you and your husband but we had no problems. Had a great time there and came home feeling fine.

I will say I saw a LOT of people going around sneezing on board, so it's possible he picked something up that way.

I'm glad my husband seems to have an isolated case.
He had a tempature of 102 for 4 days, so it was more then the sniffles.
Thankfully he's fine now.
We loved NCL and would gladly travel with them again.

Eh, typical Northeast weather this time of year. Either chilly & rainy or hot & humid. This year its hot & humid, kinda unusual this time of year & we didn't have really any rain other than that lovely Nor'easter. But I guess that made up for the rainy season!!
