!!! Colin Kerr !!!!

A Few years ago I went on the Dawn… we had the best cruise director Colin kerr. He made the cruise so much fun. I don’t think he sails with NCL anymore I heard he switched to another cruise line owned by NCL… Anyone else know of any good current Cruise directors?

I was on the Dawn in June of 2005 wheb Colin was the CD. He was amazing!!! He kind of spoiled us because that was the first cruise I had ever been on and I thought all CD's were like him. We loved his toilet infomercial, so much that my friend mimicked his accent and started doing his own public service announcements all over the ship. If you recall how Colin came on the PA system, you would hear the silly ding dong noise then he would say, "This is Colin Kerr live from the bridge". Well anyways my friend while in the shower in the other room, we had connecting rooms, decided to do a public service announcement that sounded exactly like him. We got scared because he was telling us to man the life boats and this nonsense. Prior to the announcement we saw smoke from our window coming from the ship so we thought my friend was really Colin. When we heard him starting to choke on some water we wanted to kill him. Well anyways we called NCL to see where Colin was and they wouldnt tell us. We have had other CD's including Matt Baker who was pretty good. Another flamboyant foreigner. Nothing beats Colin though. Maybe he will be back for the Gem this fall! I'm going on the New Years cruise. Hope your experience with Colin was just as enjoyable.
