Default POA Maui Stop for 36 Hours

Five of us are going on the Pride of Aloha seven-day tour beginning September 2, 2007. During the 36-hour stop in Maui we are interested in renting a car for the two day period.

If anyone has done this, we would appreciate your telling us...

1. What does it cost to rent a car for two days on Maui?
2. Do you pick up and return the car right at the port?
3. Are there provisions for parking the car at the port on Friday night so you can stay on the ship and head back out on Saturday morning?

We rented a car on Maui and total cost was $50.52. Convertibles run about $75. All the car rental companies run shuttles between the ship and their rental location so there is not car pick up at the pier. There was a parking lot about a block from the dock where you were asked to park overnight.
