Default Orca Watching in Vancouver

Have heard some rumors that NCL's excursion in Vancouver to observe Orca's is not that good due to this particular excursion setting out so late in the day as compared to their "normal" orca excusion time. Anyone have any experience with this recently? Thanks.

Not sure if I should thus cancel this particular whale watching excursion and pick something else.
