Time to book Alaska, August 2008?

Is it time to book a cruise to Alaska in August next year now? What I mean is, will it be hard to get the cabin or suite we want if we wait a few more months?

Of course it´s good to book early but since it´s more than a year left, the times and prices for the flight to Vancouver or Seattle isn´t ready yet and I haven´t seen the exact itineraries for the cruises yet either.

Does anyone know which ships NCL will have there late August next year, will the Pearl be there then or any other of their newer ships?

Yes, it's time! We just booked Princess for September of 2008 in order to get the cabin we wanted.

In looking at the NCL site there are only about 15 cruises to Alaska posted now, http://www.ncl.com/nclweb/cruisesear...isesearch.html If you want a specific cruise (Pearl, Star and Sun) and cabin, book it now and watch to see if the price goes down.
