Default Pride of Aloha or Pride of Hawaii?

Everywhere I look the POA has lower sailing prices than the POH but they sail the same ports. Is one ship better than the other? Thanks, Carla

In a word.. YES! POH is a newer and beautiful ship, built specifically for Free Style Cruising.

She is leaving the Hawaiian islands itin next year, and leaving NCL Americal to sail in Europe under the NCL banner.

Will they be replacing her with a new ship in Hawaii?

Will NCLA be adding a new ship to their fleet or just making the rounds with two? My wife and I will be working as crew on one of the ships in the next month or so.

they are saying they will bring the hawaii back when it makes fiscal sense but i think that it will be two ships and that is that. We LOVE the Pride of America. it is a fantastic ship.

My travel agent told me to stay away from POA- she said that she has had complaints about it due to it being an 'older' ship. She suggested POH for us...just FYI.

I wouldn't sail on either. Both really bad.

Please do not consider Pride of Aloha. It was the worst cruise my husband and I have ever been on. The staff is so inept they just stand around and do nothing. The food was adequate but served poorly. The reason prices are cheaper is that it not worth going even at a low price. This is our 8th cruise this year.

We took the 7 day cruise last year on the Pride of America expecting the worst but we had a great cruise, good staff with a friendly attitude. We were so pleasantly surprised we leave tomorrow for Hawaii and do the 10 night cruise on the Pride of Aloha.

The reviews on the Pride of Aloha have been getting better and better and we will find out if this is true. I will post some remarks upon our return.

The Pride of Hawai'i Will be leaving the NCLA fleet in Febuary. NCL will not add another ship in the NCLA fleet so it will only be the Pride of America and the Pride of Aloha.
