Default NCL Pearl - can you request a non-smoking cabin?

I have been searching the web and finding conflicting information on whether you can request a non-smoking cabin on NCL. Some places say they are available - some information says no. We have migraine issues can be triggered by second-hand smoke. We are fine not going to areas that allow smoking on the ship, but if the cabin is smoky or if we have neighbors who are smoking inside (not worried about balconies) and the smoke is coming into our cabin, that could be a recipe for trouble for us. Can anyone tell me if there are designated non-smoking cabins? Any information is appreciated. Thanks.

The answer is no but they do a great job clearing cabins on any remaining second hand smoke unlike hotels. With NCL's new smoking policy there is a better chance of having your neighbor smoking next door.

In the past I would always run out to the nearest bar to have a smoke. The new rules have made all the bars smoke free except the casino - good for you. Smokers can now only smoke outside or in the casino, or in their rooms or balcony. I think it will drive the 20-30% of smokers onboard to us their rooms more often.

I think RCCL got it right with their new policy- no smoking in the rooms except on a balcony and they made one bar no smoking getting the smokers out of the closed areas.
