NCL is the only line that will charge you whether you consume it in the cabin or at dinner. If you bring it on with you they will collect the $15 per bottle at the time, if you send it through you will be asked to report to the "naughty room" and they will charge you then. None of us like the policy but have adjusted to it. some lines are charging $20-$25 per bottle corkage, but only in the dining room. others do not allow you to bring any liqour or wine on the ships. They are all out to get their money, one way or another.
