Default Latitudes Credit and Charters.

Shortly I will returning to NCL after a few years trying out some other lines.

I noticed that I don't have Latitudes for 3 cruises that I made while on charter sailings with NCL. Does anyone know if I am entitled to credit for these?

Would it be worth trying to get them?

Thanks for your advice.

Not sure - no mention of charters on NCL.com. You could check but my guess the answer will be no since you are booked witth the charter company/org not NCL. Can't hurt to try

Cruises taken while sailing on a travel agent, interline or family and friends rate as well as cruises taken using a cruise credit certificate do not count towards your Latitudes membership level

It may also depend on how long ago you took those cruises. I have found that, for multiple cruise lines, they only have records back to a certain date and cruises taken before that don't count. The same reason may apply to charters or groups. They may not have their record system set up to keep track of each one.
Marty....a looong time cruise junkie!

we had not cruised on ncl since may 1984, we booked a cruise with them this year. we contacted latitudes customer service about our past three crusies that we had taken. they told us if we could send proof of the cruises we would get credit. we sent pictures of us taken on the ships in 1980, 1982, and 1984 receiving credit for all three cruises.

I did the same for my cruises in the late 80s and early 90s - pre Latitudes - I still have my Embark Card. I think Latitudes started around 94.

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences. I got credit immediately for my Norway trips in the 80's and 90's, but, these seem to be taking a bit longer. I'm checking the 'my cruises' page on the ncl site. Is that the best way to check? I'm assuming that there isn't a way to check your exact history of cruises online.

Thanks again everyone, you're great.
