Default Last minute questions.....

Hi everyone,

Just about 5 days to go, and I have a question for you. My children would like to know if the ship serves Coke or Pepsi products, and more specifically do they have Dr. Pepper. Anyone know?

Should we bring a travel iron with us? I have heard that some ships have a central laundry room where you have to go to iron your clothes.

Thank you for any information you can provide.

Alison

Coke products no DP. Feel free to bring your own or pick some DP up in port.

4 laundry rooms with irons on the Jewel. Decks 5,9,10,& 11 - mid ship, inside, starboard. The signs are easy to miss. Check with your cabin steward. Look at the deckplan they are in the same location on every deck on 11 across from 11056,

Do not bring your own iron.
It will be kept by the ship until the end of the cruise.
When we sailed the Pearl we just had the service do our clothes. It was very reasonable.

I think Shoreguy and rinker have answered your questions: the laundry room will have irons or you can send the laundry out.

If the kids really want Doc Pep, just bring some with you. Have a wonderful Christmas sailing.

You can bring your own soda aboard without a problem.. However, Irons are a big NO NO for safety reasons.

Just have the ship press your items. It is not too expensive.

Enjoy your cruise.

Hi everyone!

I'm bacccckkkkkk! I would rather be on the ship! We had an absolutely wonderful time. The food was good, the shows were great, the shore excursions fun, etc. The only BIG problem was that Continental Airlines delayed my son's suitcase for 5 days. That was awful. We had to do "combat" shopping in Miami on the day we sailed. The airline finally sent the suitcase to one of the ports. It was a big damper, but we managed just the same.

Thank you all for the information/tips that you provided. On a side note, I did bring a travel iron and it was not confiscated.

Any questions I can help with, fire away!

I'm happy that you had a great time!

Ya know, the rule about the irons is for the safety of all the passengers not just to inconvienence you.
As was stated, there are irons/boards for the free use of everyone.
