She is a wonderful ship, filled with energy and lots of great crew members. You should love being on her. Don't miss Blue Lagoon for comfort food and Mama's Kitchen for Italian dinner. Both are no extra charge dining experiences.

I will say one thing, the cabins are not very large, but the bathrooms are quite nice.

WE WERE ON THE JEWEL LAST SPRING AND FOUND THE STAFF WONDERFUL. I DID NOT FIND THE FOOD AS GOOD AS ON OTHER CRUISES I'VE BEEN ON BUT THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING YOU LIKE. MAMMA'S KITCHEN WAS VERY NICE. WE ESPECIALLY ENJOYED THE "HARMONIES" WHO SANG EARLY EVENING ( OLDIES). THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AND WE NEVER MISSED A DAY WITHOUT GOING TO HAVE A DRINK BEFORE DINNER AND LISTENING TO THEM. I THINK THEY ARE ON A DIFFERENT SHIP NOW HOWEVER.
THE CABINS WERE FINE AS FAR AS SIZE AND THE BATHROOM WAS ADEQUATE....TOOK A LITTLE BIT OF TIME TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO USE THE SHOWER!
THE SHOWS WERE GREAT ALTHOUGH SOME OF THEM WEREN'T OUR TYPE OF MUSIC. THERE WAS GOOD SHOPPING ON THE SHIP. I LIKED THE BIJOUX TERNER JEWELLRY FOR GIFTS TO TAKE HOME...VERY REASONABLE.
WE ALSO FOUND THE CAPTAIN TO BE VERY FRIENDLY AND WAS SEEN FREQUENTLY IN PORTS AND ABOUT THE SHIP.
ENJOYED THE FISH AND CHIPS ( SMALL SERVINGS HOWEVER) AND THE LITTLE MEXICAN RESTAURANT ABOVE THE MAIN LOBBY.
YOU WILL ENJOY YOURSELF. IT'S A BEAUTIFUL SHIP. SOME OF THE ART WORK IN THE HALLWAYS WAS A LITTLE TACKY LOOKING THOUGH . HAVE A GREAT TIME. C

Default Thank You

Thank you both for your insight on the Jewel. This is our first cruise and I can't wait. I don't plan on spending to much time in my cabin

Default I loved the Jewel!!!

My teenage sons and I went on the Jewel over Christmas, and we had the time of our lives! The food was awesome, the shows were very entertaining, the tours were wonderful, and the staff was very accomodating. Our room was just fine...10010. I don't have anything bad to say....Duncan at the front desk was a huge help (the airline delayed my son's suitcase).

If you have any specific questions, ask away...maybe I can help.

Maggie, we'll be on that cruise, too. Based on our past nine NCL cruises, I'm sure you're going to have a great time.
