Default 'Norway' blast blamed on poor maintenance

[FYI: My 3rd cruise on her was scheduled for 4 months after the blast. I loved the Blue Lady]

ours was scheluled for about the same time as yours : I really don't think the cause is even an issue at this time: The blast happened almost 5 years ago.

I had discovered cruising about a year prior and had just begun looking at her for my next cruise when it happened. I'm sure the final determination of cause and responsibility matters to the families of those that were killed. I'm cruious though why this is just coming out now when the ship has been on an Indian beach for well over a year.. maybe longer.

It seems the line took responsbility, as they should, though none of those in charge of the maintenance and day-to-day operations were cruise line employees. I can understand casino employees and some bar staff not being actual employees, but not those kinds of positions.
