Shore Guy, thanks for clearing that up. I have seen many postings where it appears people are thinking the same thing, (I.E. if it is available through WiFi, it's free, just like Starbucks). The truth is that the ships are making too much money off this service to give it away. Also, when you consider the time to connect and the slow service, you spend a lot more time and money than you would expect when comparing to land-based connections. I just wait until I hit an island with an internet cafe' and then I check my e-mail. It is much less hassle.
