Default Fun In Miami

Can anyone give me suggestions on what fun things there are to do in Miami? We are going to be in Miami early before our cruise and want to do somethings fun. We have been to the Bayside market place. Any suggestions?

Rent a car and drive to Key West for the day. One of the most senic drives you can make. We have done it several times and will do it again in 2 weeks before our cruise. It is an easy day trip. 8)

Miami can be a fun filled experience..To get to the Keys, indeed an easy ride, you would need a full day..4 hr drive each way....

A nice day take in is South Beach, you can eat and shop with the rich and famous, on Ocean Drive... Walk around Lincoln Rd, an all pedestrian retro area... visit Vizcaya, a beautiful mansion once owned by James Deering. The zoo, also has wonderful exhibits...or Parrot Jungle...Enjoy!

If you rent a car make certain you get the Neverlost system.

I think we'd still be driving around Florida if we didn't have it.

to get to south beach, can we take the city bus, or is it best to rent a car for the day, or a taxi. Is south beach the strip of beach where all the hotels are? If not, can you tell me where it is located?

Ocean Drive follows along the ocean in Miami Beach, which is NOT Miami. This is where all the trendy hoptels and shops are... so depending on where you are staying in Miami, it could be costly, by cab, or maybe a bus ride away..Ask the concierge at the hotel, or give them a call now, to get your plans set....

You also might want to see if you can stay in Miami Beach, many hotels might have a shuttle to the port.
