We were on the Dawn two weeks ago and really enjoyed one of their featured entertainers, Bernie Martini. He is a singer and pianist who looks and sounds like Michael Buble' and does a lot of traditional "crooning" in the style of Sinatra and Tony Bennett.
This was the first week that Bernie was on board and he played in the Star Bar and Gatsby's piano bar. He also did a couple of shows in the Main Theater with the NCL Show Band which were excellent.
I wanted to post this here so that if you are on the Dawn, you should make an effort to catch his shows. He is really entertaining and took a lot of requests. He really kept the people happy at the shows we attended.
I would love to hear back from others who have seen him since and hear your comments.
We were on board NCL Majesty during the first week of February and Bernie Martini was on board there. We can't agree more with your comments and found him to be one of the most entertaining young performers. We loved all his music and enjoyed a few chats with Bernie in between his performances. The Majesty was a four-week tour for him and was his first-ever cruise gig. He was hoping for future bookings, and we are so very pleased to read your post and to know that Bernie has been rebooked so that other cruisers may continue to enjoy his talent. We highly recommend others make a point to experience the talent of the rising Bernie Martini.

Thanks for the reply, we know that on the Dawn, Bernie had quite a following and we heard many people note that they were glad to have the opportunity to see him perform in such a great setting.
We also found him very approachable and willing to share time with us at our table during his "breaks". Bernie told us about his professional journey which started 4 years ago when he was selling pianos and ended up going to work in Japan. He had some good breaks there and ended up coming back home to work on Cruise Ships.
Again, if you find yourself on a ship with Bernie, make sure that you check out his performance early in the week because you will be going back every night.

Wow, that is quite a coincidence. Jose and Patti were playing on our cruise to Hawaii' a few years ago and we really enjoyed them. We have been hoping to see them again.
