I can't specifically answer your question, but I can tell you that I'd be very cautious if you find you can and you choose to go that route. We have neighbors who downloaded their photos on an Alaskan Princess cruise. In the process, something went wrong and they didn't all transfer to the CD. They assumed everything was fine and started reusing the memory card, came home, put the CD in their computer and had only about 10-15 of their original 200 photos.
Luckily, it was near the end of the cruise, and using photo recovery software I was able to recover most of the pictures. My take on that matter is that I'd rather spend the extra money for another memory card rather than risk losing my precious photos.
I can't remember exactly, but on the Pearl they were charging $20 or $25 to download your pics. We did it for $7.95 at a photoshop in port...and that was in Alaska where EVERYTHING is expensive. We also double checked the CD in the store (Radio Shack) to make sure all our photos were there before deleting our memory card.
