NCL does doggie rescue

Did you hear about the NCL crew resuing an abandoned dog on a Pacific atoll ? Seems a couple sailing a catamaran broke up on a reef and made it with their dog to a small island and left the pooch with the locals who promptly left the dog on its own. Someone heard about it and got an NCL crew to rescue it.
Saw the story on Fox News Channel web site. I have never sailed NCL before but this gives them heavy duty points in my book !

Yes, this good news story is "all the rage" on our cruise. The NCL family is very proud of their actions.

And to make it more interesting, this was actually Pride Of Aloha's last and final visit to Fanning Island.

I'm glad they joined in the rescue. I'm an avid fan of animal rescue / abuse.

However, the bird is still there.
