Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on how to get from POM to Ft Lauderdale Aorpot? Is it easy to grab a shuttle after we get off the ship..or shall we arrange for a pick-up. There will be 8 or us. Anyone had any experience with this? Any suggestions on companies we might use if we were to arrange a pick-up? How long is the ride..and fare. Thanks
It's around 25 miles to get from the POM to FLL. With as many people as you have travelling in your group, I suggest you check out www.topshuttle.com. You can book your reservation online or call them directly. The cost is around $125 for 8-10 people (I thought that was very reasonable).
If you elect to grab a shuttle or taxi without a reservation after you get off of the ship, there's a high possiblility that your group will be split up & the cost will be a lot more than $125, especially if you have a lot of luggage!
