Default Dawn and Tropical Depression 3

I have a family member leaving on Dawn tomorrow out of Manhatten terminal to Bermuda and am curious with a tropical depression moving up the coast and most likely will be near Long Island when she sets sail, what the policy is with these storms?...Will they stay in port and leave a day later or try their luck at some rough seas to keep to their itinerary?

Thanks!

They will sail unless it is unsafe and that is not likely. The Dawn does fine in 40 foot seas. Take a Bonine in the morning when you get to the pier.
