Default passenger with a portable oxygen concentrator..

Is there any previous cruiser that has needed to bring a portable oxygen concentrator on board? My mom now requires one of those you wear around your shoulder, like a purse. Anyway, I got 2 different responses from NCL. One person said that I just need to email them the info so they can note it. Another said something about filling out a fax from them. Has anyone had any problems?
