Default Cook out on the deck

Hi, I was wondering if it true about NCL having a cook out on the deck. I mean do they really have a bar-be-que grill on the deck like you would do at home on the 4th of July.

Yes, they did when returning from Bermuda to Boston, on the Majesty. Hopefully, they still do it.

Default Bar-be-que

I hope they do it on the Spirit. It will be nice if they do it Thanksgiving day in Belize. I told my group that they do it so I hope they do it for our cruise.

When the weather is good they normally barbeque more than once every cruise, it's just a guess but they probably do it on thanksgiving if the weather is fine.

In my opinion, the music on deck is always too loud so we normally skip the barbeques!

They did this fall on the Dream. It was fun. No music, just a barbeque.
That was a quiet trip; all the kids were in school so it was somewhat of an elder crowd. Which made for a quiet cruise. Not bad

Without the music it is super fun, I agree with Erik, if the band is playing we leave the bar-b-que to others..

Yes they did have one on the Jewel. The weather wasn't condusive to more, but the evening we sailed from Curacao they had a bar-b-q on deck, using the big Weber grills.

The cruise was mostly excellent. You can read all my daily blogs from the ship... they're still archived on my blog....

Hey Kuki, I know you were with a group of adults but by chance did you happen to notice what they planned for the kids on halloween night? We have this same Halloween repo cruise booked for next year on the Jewel, and there is a large bunch of us trying to plan our own cabin to cabin (people within our roll call) trick or treating event for the kids around 6:00 p.m. but don't want to conflict with any ship activities they may have going on at that time. (typically the kid's club is closed at that time). Any thoughts?

Thanks! Hope you're all doing well.

Not on Ncl, but on another line, it was the last cruise before the ship went to Alaska, so what did they do? They had a salmon grill set up by the pool..oh boy..phewwwww!!

I would love to have the smell of a barbeque, poolside..yum!
