We are first time cruisers, leaving next weekend! I have read that meals are included in the fare. Does this include all meals and snacks? Only at certain restaurants? Will this info be given to us once we board?
All meals and snacks are included in the cruise fare if you eat in the standard (free) restaurants. There are lots of no cost choices.
There are also specialty restaurants that are extra cost. Room service is also free but it is customary to tip the delivery person a buck or two.
All of this will be spelled out for you in the Freestyle Daily Newspaper you will receive each day.
All meals at the snack bar, main dining rooms and the buffet are free plus room service and the outdoor grill at the pool. There is always something open 24 hours a day. The snack bar had delicious fish and chips and buffalo wings made to order. The dining room is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the specialty restarants which charge are only open for dinner. The specialty restaurants usually have a deal after 8:30, dinner will be half off. Most specialty restaurants charge 15-20 per person extra.
Remember, even in the dining room, you can order as many items as you want, so, you can order 2 or more appetisers and 2 or more meals plus as many desserts as you want. This is the same bor breakfast and lunch!
