is this just on 7-day cruises or will they have this event on the 5-night Dawn cruise I'm taking in 2010? Are there any other things I should know so I can bring specific clothing? Such as a 50's night, or whatever?
Forgive my ignorance, as I have never saild NCL before but am seriously considering it for my next cruise. What goes on at the white hot party? I understand the dress in white part, but what sets this party apart from any other onboard event?

I went to the white hot party. It's a bunch of dancing and everyone well almost everyone is in white. I wore, white capri's with a white tank and a white sweater over that. The crowd is a little younger dancing but maybe it was the time of year I went. I went at the end of spring break so I hear.
We have seen the White Party as a regular event on the last 3 cruises that we have been on. As noted above, it is mostly just a theme for a party sponsored by the Cuise Director's Staff. You will notice on the day of the party that the bar tenders and wait staff will be wearing the official "White Party" t-shirts that are for sale in the Gift Shops during the day of the party.

The white hot NCL shirts with the Angel Wings drawn on the back are really cute and many young girls love them. They are sold in the stores and the staff really plays up the party. However, children are not allowed into the party. I agree with this, adults need some fun too!
The Dailies on the Spirit have recently added the adults-18 label to it. It should be obvious but I think it was good for NCL to be clear.
