I realize NCL is Freestyle and means just that - Freestyle. But, is it possible to make standing reservations at the beginning of the cruise for a certain time each night in the dining room for a group of 13 people? We'd like to be dine together each night and not have to worry about making reservations 24 hours in advance. Also, this is a Easter cruise (school holiday), so it's a sold out ship.
This will be my 9th cruise on NCL, but the first with a large group. Can anyone share their experience with large groups and dining on NCL? Also, should we speak to the Maitre'd or reservation desk? I called NCL and they told me to ask on the ship. Any suggestions?
On the STAR cruise I was on in December anyone could make reservations by the night or for the whole cruise.
It seems to vary by ship from what I have seen through postings on various sites.
That being said large parties, basically have to make reservations if they are to be seated in any kind of timely fashion. A seating of 13 will likely be at two different tables.

Yes in the begining of the week you can book the whole week. We had 10 for 8 oclock never had to wait. I recomend the Mexican place. It was worth the $10 extra just to be away from the crowds. Food was good.
