Default Formal Nights

Hi,

We will be sailing on the Dawn on April 11th. I was wondering if anyone knows what percentage of people wear a tux on the formal nights? Is it worth packing one? Thanks!

My opinion save the room in the luggage and leave the tux home. They don't even rent them anymore. If 5-10% have a tux that will be alot. Most will dress up a bit some suits, some sport coats and tie, some just a sports coat, most in a nice shirt and slacks.

You will even find a few in jeans but they keep them out of one dining room.

That is why the call it "Dress up or not night"

If you hang around the Atrium area you will see some people dressed to the nines getting their portraits taken. I usually bring a sport coat for when we go to dinner in one of the specialty restaurants, mainly because I find they can be a bit on the chilly side.

And just in case the Captain invites me to dinner. I'm still waiting.

A simple answer is "No".

Unless you want to dress up for you don't bother packing it. If you enjoy dressing up then, by all means, pack it and wear it.

There will be less than 10% of people wearing a tuxedo.

Take care and have a great time.
