Default UPGRADE OFFER-WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

New to these boards, however I did do a lot of research to select my category BB balcony cabin. It is EXACTLY midship and sandwiched between passenger decks. Luckilly, our price has dropped 3 times. The first time, they gave us a credit on our cc. the next time, they gave us $200 OBC. This was after final payment date. . Now, ANOTHER significant reduction, so I just had to call.
they have offered an upgrade to a mini suite on the pool deck. #1214, (fwd) which is one room away from the beauty salon, and directly under the kiddies pool. I don't imagine there will be a lot of activity in the pool on an Alaskan cruise, but I could be wrong. There are several restaurants etc on the pool deck. I just am so confused
If we take the mini, we will have to give up the $200 OBC.

what would you do???
TIA

If all you are giving up the $200obc I would jump on the mini suite. They are great rooms. a bigger balcony to enjoy Alaska. Being on the pool deck provides quick access to the open decks to view Alaska as well.

Well, I did it! Bottom line is we are in a mini suite for less than what we originally paid for the balcony room. I never even thought of the quick access to open decks. thanks, shoreguy!
