Default NCL Pearl - Stateroom Info

Does anyone know - are all of the suites that hang off the back of the ship queen size beds only? My sister and I are wanting to take the Pearl through the Panama Canal in Sept 2010 and we definitely want a suite off the back of the ship, but I can't seem to figure out if they have anything with 2 beds!

The answer for the most part is all are queen. The two HC AEs have twin beds. The mini suites (AFs) as well as the BA balconies have twin beds but none of the suite perks.

I have a different question regarding the staterooms on the Pearl -

We are planning a cruise for the whole family and my sister's son will be 2 1/2 at the time of sailing. She is looking for a bigger room because it will be the 3 of them, so she was thinking about a balcony.

She is concerned though, about the fact that he might be able to open the balcony door on his own - any opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Rocker there is a child safety lock on the slider that would prevent a 2 1/2 year old from opening the door. That is if your sister remembers to set it.

The AE and AD suites have a queen size bed that can be split into two single beds. You won't have to bunk together.

Rocker:

Unless your sister's 2 1/2 year old is Bam Bam it would be almost impossible opening the slider on the balcony, especially if the handle lock is down.

Take care,
Mike

Mike the beds in the regular AEs and ADs are true queens and can not be split.
