Snorkel Park: Bermuda

I posted this on another board, but no luck...I usually have luck here! Anyone have any experience with Snorkel Park? Is it within walking distance from where the boat is docked? I have a snorkel excursion booked, is it worth scheduling a bit of time in for the park. We are beginers in our group...Thanks!

If you are docked at King's Wharf my understanding is that Snorkel Park is about a 10 minute walk from the ship.

Snorkel Park is a short walk, maybe five minutes from the ship and is a great little beach.

It's good for your last day in port so you are nice and close to the ship.

It has a little dive shop a snack bar and a full service restaurant and bar called Hammerheads.

That is a good thought because sometimes we don't like to venture to far from the ship before we head home. Usually we are pretty tired as well!

We had a good time there, you should see the others. Buy a trans pass for the days your in port. They are good for the bus and the ferry so you can see all the good spots.

We were just at Snorkel Park on 8/9. The ship arrived to King's Wharf so we waited a bit and took the very short walk over. We had been there before so we knew what to expect.

It is a small beach. there are chair rentals as well as paddle boats etc.. There is a pretty good sized reef to swim around and explore.

There were lots of people there and the water was not so clear. It was still a great place to go and swim and snorkel for a bit.

The bus service/ferry service does run limited service on Sundays. This is why we waited to go to Horseshoe Bay for the next day. This is a beautiful beach. Not good for snorkeling, Church Bay is better for that, but a great beach.
