Default Orlando to Port Canaveral

Hello Fellowcruisers,

This will be our first cruise on the NCL line. We are both excited as usual.

Can anyone of you please help us?

How far it is from the airport (MCO) to our hotel in Port Canaveral? How to we get from a to b? Renting a car would not make much sense as we would only use it to get from MCO to the hotel and there it would sit....

Thank you for your assistance.

I have 2 ideas for you:1-most rental car companies in Florida do have free drop off service, so it would pay you to rent one. You could rent it at the airport and drop it off in Port Canaveral. There is also a shuttel service, I think it is super shuttle that goes from the airport to the pier or may take you near your hotel.
I think it is about an hour and a half.

We usually rent a car at MCO then return it the morning of the cruise and ride the free shuttle to the port. Once I walked back to the hotel from the car rental office and we took the free hotel shuttle. In any case it was nice to go out to dinner the night before the cruise. There is a fantastic seafood place by the water that had the best scallop risoto!. We usually take the ship transfer back to MCO after the cruise. Pricey but so very easy.
