There is a reservation desk to the Specialty restaurants and a # you can call.
Charge is added to your onboard account. The wait staff is included in the $12 a day service charge. That said it very common for most to leave a few dollars extra for exceptional service but not expected. I usually leave an extra $10, some more, some less, some none. Your call. Cash is king but you can add a little to the bill and it goes on your account as well.
We usually leave $5 to $10, but it isn't mandatory nor really expected.
ps; if the service isn't up to par, leave nothing. I will say, we have never gotten bad service in a specialty dining room, we did get iffy on the Spirit in the Asian one last year, but there were about 12 of us and that can be a real pain.
NO THE TIPS DO NOT GET ADDED TO FINAL BILL UNLESS YOU HAVE DRINKS AND ADD THE TIP WITH THEM. OTHERWISE YOU CAN JUST LEAVE A TIP. THERE IS NUMBER THAT YOU CALL TO MAKE RESERAVTIONS PLUS THERE IS A TABLE THATB YOU CAN STOP AND MAKE THEM. GRACE
We dont leave tips, and rarely has service been exceptional enough to warrant tips. We already are billed the tips in the service charges per day of 12$. I certainly would not feel more obligated to leave tips in a specialty venue versus the regular main dinning room.
