Some NCL Dawn customers got upset, others not so much
So, it seems some people on the NCL Dawn, were getting into fights, as conditions on the Dawn went downhill, during the power outage:-( Others just went with the flow....

Cruisers Stranded by Power Outage Recount Chaos

Well I sure can see the value in booking a balcony in that situation. You can stay in your room and avoid the rioting village idiots and get a little fresh breeze as you bobbed around in the ocean like a cork. One thing I always take on a cruise with me is a flashlight. This is a good example why. It's too bad people were fighting, what a futile and unproductive thing to do in this situation.

I read a post from a man who was on this cruise, and I was so impressed by his positive attitude. I am really glad that NCL compensated these people and got them back to the home port safe and sound.

Village Idots
I guess this is additional proof that some people just should not cruise. Stuff Happens!! NCL did the right thing by getting the passengers back to home port and provided very good compensation.
Yelling and fighting ?????rofl

Fighting, pushing, yelling, etc?? I can just see it now. I would guess the term Village Idiots would surely apply to some on that ship--like that sort of attitude is going to solve anything!
Sounds like NCL did really well with compensating people for their inconvenience-75 % refund, chartered planes and 50 % off the next cruise!
I agree some folks shouldn't cruise or better yet, ever leave home !! ;-)

From the information I have gotten NCL did the best they could and compensated the guests to the hilt..there will always be those that find the negatives in anything, too bad..

NCL Customers
We've been on the NCL Sun three times with the most recent being two months ago. It seems that a lot of people equate "freestyle" with no style and no manners. We have since been on RCCI and Carnival and there is a seriously different atmosphere on the other lines. I really hope that NCL can set some standards in terms of behavior and enforce them.
