I am very close to booking a seven day Mexico Riviera cruise on either HAL or NCL's Star. I know the ups and downs of both lines having cruised both so which one to choose is not the question I am asking.
To enjoy more room, I am looking to book a penthouse suite (small step above a balcony or mini-suite) and have been offered one with a huge balcony of 273 sq ft and a cabin with 314 sq ft.
The balcony is so big because it is at the front of the ship.
When I looked at pictures of the Star, the balcony looked like a handball court. It appears that you cannot see anything from there. The forward bulkhead of the balcony looks to be taller than an average person.
Has anyone bookede one of these cabins?
Maybe shed some light for me?
Peace through superior firepower.
Great views from those balconies. The steel bulkheads are not that tall perhaps waist high. The good news they block the wind so you sit out there when the ship is underway. If you stand you have great 180 degree views.
You will have to keep the curtains closed or the lights in the cabin off at night so they can see clearly from the bridge.
